Your country? Brussels Capital Region (Belgium)

Your organisation? hub.brussels

Your job title? Cluster 4 NCP and DEP NCP Coordinator

Your first and last name? Marion Perrin

Why did you decide to become a Cluster 4 NCP? I was really interested in raising awareness on all the great opportunities offered by the European Commission to support and encourage the research and innovation ecosystem in Europe.

What do you like most in your daily professional life? I find supporting and interacting with very promising and dynamic local entreprises and researchers everyday is really motivating.

What would you say are the most promising areas of digital in your country? AI, fintech and govtech are really active fields right now in Brussels.

How helpful is the IDEALIST network for you? I think the IDEAL-IST project is indeed very helpful! Being in close and regular contact with NCPs from other countries is a great way to keep the job interesting and understand better what's going on on a bigger scale. The project really creates a collaborative working environment at European level.

Tell us what you would like to share with your peers as inspiration? Horizon Europe is a very large and complex programme. Don't be shy and get in touch with your local NCP who is here to help you and advise you at all stages of your innovative project!
