Like the previous event, Industry Days 2019 will be a high-level conference featuring key political speakers and experts from various industrial spheres, as well as sessions organised by industrial stakeholders. 

We will review progress on the Commission's strategic approach to industrial policy and present actions to further develop industrial competitiveness in Europe. 

During the event, we will hold an exhibition showcasing how the EU supports industrial modernisation through various programmes and initiatives. We will also hold a hackathon to develop solutions to industrial challenges. 

The thematic areas selected for 2019 are industry and sustainability, industry and globalisation, and innovation and digitalisation.

Local events under the 'EU Industry Week' brand will also be held. These events, on the same themes as the conference, will take place across Europe between January - March 2019.
